Founded in Rotterdam in 1995, Greenwheels is the Netherlands' best-established carsharing service, with around 3,500 shared cars in more than 200 towns and at roughly 195 train stations. Cars are picked up and returned to fixed spots, which works out cheaper for planned round trips.
